B. Elle Borders Joins Flow Therapy to talk About The "Meeting Tree"

We were excited to have Playwright B. Elle Borders join The Flow Therapy Morning Show to discuss her latest creation, "The Meeting Tree." Her production is now playing at Boston's historic "Strand Theater." She has partnered with Company One and Summer L. Williams, who directs this beautiful body of work; dramaturgy by afrikah selah & Ilana M. Brownstein produced in partnership with Front Porch Arts Collective and the City of Boston’s Office of Arts and Culture. The final shows are this Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

You don't want to miss the powerful and impactful storytelling, it is a heartfelt and universal story that began with a conversation B. Elle Borders had with her late Grandmother. The generational connections are woven together seamlessly.

Borders encompasses the makings of an accomplished playwright, ready to tell the stories we need to hear, as it prompts us to reflect by pulling us into the two families and their tumultuous history. It has been said "it empowers us to break cycles of trauma and discover just how deep and tangled our roots really are."

It's no surprise the Boston Globe is quoted saying "The Meeting Tree contains echoes of August Wilson's The Piano Lesson." That is a heavy mantel, and Borders' mentions "reading that was so surreal."
