Karrueche Tran and Mark J.P. Hood (above) lead Lifetime’s newest original film, Terry McMillan Presents: Preach, Pray, Love, premiering November 8. The story follows Charlie Jones (Tran), a platinum-selling rapper whose provocative image has brought fame—and trouble. Fresh out of prison, her court-ordered community service brings her face-to-face with Pastor Kyrus Owens (Hood), a dedicated minister fighting to raise funds for a new church home.

Despite living in completely different worlds, the two form an unexpected connection that stirs both romance and controversy. As Pastor Owens’ congregation begins to question his priorities, Charlie must confront the tension between her public persona and her desire for redemption. Together, they search for a path built on truth, faith, and love.
The film also stars Tobias Truvillion, B. Simone, Reginae Carter, and Da Brat, rounding out a dynamic cast for this heartfelt and inspiring story.
